This is an updated version of the picture for my novel about Lenne the Succubus. I'm a bit reclutant of pastng the whole picture on DA now, but I'm sure that I paste it sooner or later so please have patience.

It was very pleasing to create more detailed sky of resembling Hell. I wanted to make it look more dramatic than it was before so I added some detailed lights and shadows on the previous picture. The result is apparently more hellish and has a feeling of 'falling from the sky'. High saturation is for showing that the landscape and the lighting conditions of Hell of The Nameless differs vastly from the lighting on earthly Andaya like the normal world as well.

Secondly, I added some visible magical effects because Lenne has the ability of teleport anywhere on her present plane where she has been even once or the place has told her in a great detail. I know, the effects are a bit too lavish for some tastes only for visuals of teleport spell. Still, making of them was really pleasant and relaxing - I'm very fond with magicks and spellcasters in fantasy so drawing them on her made no difference on that matter. I prefered to make magic look a bit airy with a hint of ghostliness on the effects to resemble of her malign nature. I also wished the magicks to swirl around the demon to make it look more dramatic and more vortex-like before it would soon wreath her completely and before the body of the demon disappears on sight.

The result is more radical and dynamic with lots of new details. I only find the lighting on the face skin a bit flat and too two-dimensional to my taste - I suppose I have to improve it more to fullfil my aims. I hope you still see this version as an improvement. :)

did you thought of that before, or is it just a coincidence that her hair looks like it get sucked into the focus point of the magic? it looks good anyway ;p

Well, I designed the focus point to be Lenne, and it will be more obvious when you can see the whole picture. There are lots of dynamic movement of air and the swriling magic. I actually didn't design it to be like that at the first place but anyway I had a view how it should look like. I'm happy you like it. :)
